Greetings, Quinn. And Congratulations on your analysis of aSoIaF universes. I'd like to share a insight I've had after listening to one of Lucifer Means Lightbringer's. I find unlikely I'm the first to think about it, but I've never seen anyone mentioning something of the sort, even after a (superficial) search. It's about the formation of The Wall. What if it was not exactly “build’, but it was just a enchanted line on an ice sheet, an great glacier, so it didn't melt? What if the Night’s King brought a long night so cold that we should compare it to an ice age on our earth, and all the glaciers that are formed with it? After all, during our last ice age, Chicago was covevered by an ice sheet 900 meters thick. It seems quite plausable that a magical “13 years” winter would produce an ice sheet with the thickness of the Wall we see in the books.
Sorry if I am wasting time and others have already thought about it and discussed it.
Anyway. Great fan. Keep up the good work.
